Not a Throw Away

I have now read this book a handful times. It first seemed unimportant because it doesn’t focus one our main hero, Pug. I’ve come to see its importance in introducing characters to Feist’s world and developing old ones over time. I also have come to enjoy it on its own merits. It is full of intrigue, humor, adventure, magic, and set in a well decoupled world. No one creates culture like Feist and this book is one of his best efforts. Read more
