Bone Tumors (Contemporary Issues in Surgical Pathology)

This volume provides coverage of most aspects of osteocarcinoma. It covers traditional pathology of bone tumours where major advances have recently occurred and emphasis is placed on newer techniques and clinical aspects. Highlights include coverage of: specimen management after osteosarcoma chemotherapy, presentation of the clinical, radiographic, and histologic features of fibrous histiocytoma, approaches to small round cell tumors, and a surgeon`s perspective on metastatic bone carcinoma. Taking the mulit-disciplinary approach to bone tumour problems, it contains basic articles on roentgenograms as well as articles on experimental techniques such as flow-cytometry. No attempt has been made to include all aspects of bone tumours.
