Gripping and entertaining. Alfred Hitchcock meets John Grisham. A fine debut thriller.
I bought this on my Kindle after reading the description on a hard copy in a bookstore. A very fine debut for Mr. Jerkins. It's a terrific legal thriller with tight, well-written prose and very intriguing and disturbing characters. There's a little Hitchcock and Grisham in the mix with a touch of "American Psycho" thrown in. STICK WITH IT - The beginning chapters are a little choppy and somewhat all over the place, but about a third of the way through, it really comes together and becomes a total page turner. I'm sold on this author and was very impressed. This was a hugely entertaining read. Highly recommended. Read more
