Murphy's Law: Harlequin comics

Evie is one of the best psychics in New Orleans. One day, an unexpected visitor comes to see her - Jack Murphy, a detective and a former lover of Evie's. Their relationship fell apart due to a terrible misunderstanding, and now they despise each other. Despite all that, Jack asks Evie for help. He wants her to get close to the wife of casino owner MacDougal and find evidence of his illegal activities. Evie has no choice but to cooperate, although she knows it's a risky job.
