Financial Statistics (2005 Edition): Explanatory Handbook

The Financial Statistics Explanatory Handbook provides a comprehensive set of notes on the content and methodology of each reference table contained in the monthly Financial Statistics publication. The introduction includes three sections which describe first the national accounting framework within which the financial and sector accounts are complied, and then the sectors and financial instruments that are used as the basic building blocks. The main section follows the layout of the chapters that appear monthly in Financial Statistics and give notes for each chapter as well as information on each table as well as explanatory notes on each table.
