In this delightful sequel to Stick Dog, our hero (named for the fact that he is drawn with deliberate amateurishness as a stick figure) and his four canine chums are on a quest, this time not for the perfect hamburger but for as many hot dogs as possible from Peter's frankfurter cart ("I'm calling them "frankfurters" in this story because using "hot dog" could get a little confusing…there would be too many "dogs" everywhere"). Karen (a dachshund), Mutt (aptly named), Poo-Poo (named after his poodle breed and "not named after, you know, going to the bathroom"), and Stripes (a non-striped but spotted Dalmatian) come up with a series of preposterous plans to raid Peter's stash of frankfurters (e.
