In this sequel to Peaches and The Secrets of Peaches, the storylines of best friends Leeda, Murphy and Birdie are brought to a conclusion. The summer after their first year away at college, the girls return to Bridgewater, Georgia, each for their own reasons. Leeda arrives to hear her grandmother's will, planning to return to her new life in New York City as soon as possible—but her grandmother had other plans for her. Murphy finds herself fighting her mother to learn who her father really is. And Birdie comes home to gain perspective on her relationship, only to find home is not quite as permanent as she thought.
