Hard to Put Down!
I just finished this book and I thought it was a terrific read with all the plot twists, character studies and locations and intrigue. I like hearing more about the main character, Ty Hauck, since he was in Gross's other book,The Dark Tide. Ty is a rugged guy but his emotions run very deeply as we get to see more closely in Reckless. The main story is all about finance in the large spectrum and in this novel we get to see how the stock market plays into our daily lives in ways I, for one, never realized. Whether it's hedge fund traders, investment barons, overseas banks, or many other assorted financial players, this story had all the intrigue one could imagine and made me more aware than I was already just how seriously money makes the world go round. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout and what I really like about this author is that he doesn't over do the details and descriptions of the characters or the landscape....you get just enough to understand and he moves on with the story at hand.
