Mime order did not disappoint. Quite the contrary

Mime order did not disappoint. Quite the contrary. It was very satisfying and I absolutely was not expecting the ending! Wow! After speculating deliciously that evening on how it could play out in the sequels, I spent the weekend re-reading this book and also Bone Season looking for the clues about that ending. IMO, the pacing was fine, did not drag (I sighed when I had to put it aside each time I had to to attend such mundane tasks such at eating, sleeping, and going to work), and set the stage for some very promising future adventure. The characters have developed more depth. I think Shannon's style is maturing as well. I give 5 stars to books that I will re-read often. This is one of them. On a technical level I would give less stars to those who formatted the Kindle version. I have a Kindle Touch. The Mime Order, unlike Bone Season and other Kindle books I have, does not allow you to swipe from one chapter to the next. It sends you back to the title page or the end. Also there is no x-ray feature. Lastly, the diagrams: athough they will magnify or zoom once, if they were on separate pages perhaps we could zoom them two or three times?I hope all this will be addressed and updates sent to readers as they happen.
