Robert Metcalf

Robert Melancton Metcalfe is an American engineer and entrepreneur best known as a co-inventor of Ethernet, a co-founder of 3Com, and the creator of Metcalfe's law. He played a major role in the development of Internet and networking technologies in the 1970s and later taught innovation and entrepreneurship at the University of Texas at Austin.[1][2]
