Lily Ross Ross Taylor

Lily Ross Taylor (1886–1969) was an American classicist, educator, and author known for her influential scholarship on Roman political history, institutions, and religion. She taught at Bryn Mawr College and was the first female Fellow of the American Academy in Rome in 1917.
