John M G Barclay

John Martyn Gurney Barclay (born 1958) is a British biblical scholar and historian of early Christianity. He served as the Lightfoot Professor of Divinity at Durham University and is known for his work on the New Testament, especially Paul's theology and the concept of grace in works such as "Paul and the Gift."
