A sub plot involves a senior aircraftswoman Thelma who is stamped with a TOP SECRET stamp; while she does not complain about this her less attractive colleague who was not stamped reports the incident, and as a result this a Corporal nearly loosed his stripes. The identity of the person who reported the amorous Thelma is revealed. The secret of the TOP SECRET stamp is exposed for all to see, provided they will pay for a copy of the photograph. Jack finally emerges a more mature and street wise individual following his grass roots involvement in the affairs of state.
