31 nights is an account of a series of happenings that attempts to demonstrate that night dreams and nightmares that occur during our sleep, are not just the fictional and isolated fantasies of our fertile imagination, but have a lot more to do with our personal aspirations, ambitions and daydreams and are intricately linked to our often unspoken, unfulfilled secret desires, wishes and fears. They lie deeply imbedded in our subconscious and only choose to come out to play when we are at our weakest and in our most vulnerable state of unconsciousness. In my previous autobiography, I concluded that there was sufficient evidence of my own life's experiences to suggest that the many elements of my dreams as described in this account were not just the isolated and random thoughts of my troubled mind, but an extension of my conscious self. I took pen and paper to my bedside every night and have been meticulous in the recording of my dreams over a period of 31 days. They are exactly as I visualised them and noted them immediately on awakening. Nothing added. Nothing omitted. My conclusions will of course be open to differing interpretations, but nevertheless, should make for an interesting debate on the issue.
