The Mantle Falls Twice

Many years ago we were doing a joint revival in our church. Now for those that do not know what a joint revival is, let me share it with you. You see, we had several preachers in our church and we felt a need to have a revival. The Lord drew us together and we came up with a theme, one that became increasingly important to me through my years as a minister. That theme was the Mantle of Elijah. I was given the honor of being the final speaker on the series and my topic was to be on the Responsibility of the Mantle. The more I researched and studied about the responsibilities that are associated with the mantle, the more concerned I became for a lack of teaching in the church concerning our own responsibilities.
