Skeletons of the Heart

"The Bagger" is the story of a young girl who finds herself in strange surroundings with a new life and has to cope with discrimination. She brings her lunch to school in a bag and the other students won't allow "baggers" to sit at the table with the class who gets trays from the lunchroom. She is thrown together with another young "bagger" who has also been ostracized. A friendly relationship that will last into a lifetime begins with Franny and Noah. They are comfort and company for each other even though Franny resists the idea at first. The main story, "The Bagger", and the other short tales will leave you with a few "Skeletons of the Heart".
